Bruno DEFUDE

Professor and head of the Computer Science Department of Institut TELECOM SudParis. Vice-dean of Sciences et Ingénierie doctoral school, common between Evry University and TELECOM SudParis.

I did my PhD in 1986 with professor Yves Chiaramella from Grenoble University on "IOTA: an Intelligent System for Information Retrieval". I have worked for large companies from 1986 to 1988. In 1988 I became an assistant professor in Computer Science in I.N.P.Grenoble, working on object-oriented databases in the team managed by Professor M.A Adiba. In 1992 I have joined the Computer Science Department of INT as an associate professor. In 1999 I was promoted to professor. I got an "habilitation" degree in computer science from Paris 6 University in february 2005. I am a member of ACM SIGMOD.
